My current work draws inspiration from the advertising world; having written a thesis on ‘the way in which the images we see, in relation to advertising, attract, persuade and inform viewers, to reach their target audience and create a successful advertisement’, I have used my findings as a structure for constructing my imagery. The images are based on the concept of love and were conceptualised through studying symbolisms in mythologies. With these images I have tried to take the classical still life and reconstruct into a more modern, commercial style.
